Questions from the Financial District clients
Is there a downtown showroom?
No, and that is deliberate. There is one studio, in Vaughan, and everything is fitted there. It is a straight run up the Allen or the 400, and most Bay Street clients come once for measuring and once to collect. A short first visit at your home is available by arrangement, so call and ask rather than assuming; the fitting on the finished garment still happens at the studio.
How long does a custom business suit take?
About three to four weeks from the first appointment. Once your pattern is on file, reordering is a phone call rather than another appointment.
Do you make custom shirts for the office too?
Yes. Custom dress shirts cut from the pattern of your own shoulders, in two-ply cotton, with your collar, cuff and monogram. They stop the gape and bunching an off-the-rack shirt gives under a jacket.
Can I reorder without coming in again?
Yes. Your measurements are kept on file, so a second navy suit or a run of shirts can be ordered by phone and cut to you.
